Government Infrastructure is the professional record of Daniel Diez, P.E. — an electrical infrastructure engineer practicing in South Florida.
The experience documented here was built as part of engineering firms that held the client contracts, across transportation, ITS, lighting, secure facilities, gas and water treatment plants, industrial plants, license-plate recognition, CCTV, vehicle detection, school-speed-zone enforcement, sporting venues, and pump stations. In each of those categories the work ran the full arc of a project: scoping and design through construction administration and contractor RFIs — documents carried into the field, not handed off at 60 percent.
All project experience shown on this site was performed by Daniel as part of engineering firms that held the client contracts. Projects illustrate the type and caliber of work delivered; they are not contractual relationships of Government Infrastructure, and no engineering services are offered through this site.
The ethos: publish what fails
The field record on this site exists because honest documentation is rarer than it should be. Its rules are public: sponsorship disclosed by name, observations bounded by stated limits, and failure — including our own planning failures — published with the same care as success. The editorial standards are the contract with every reader.
Titles, precisely
On this site, engineering titles refer to Daniel alone. "Government Infrastructure" is the title of this record — the field and project record of one engineer — and of the non-engineering field work described on the field services page. It is not an engineering firm, does not practice engineering, and is not affiliated with any government agency.
